EMMERICH MEETS WITH BLAIR
Minister of Magic Otto Emmerich meets for the second time with British Prime Minister Tony Blair -
Their first meeting was following the final defeat of Lord Voldemort and his followers. This second meeting, however, was about completely disimilar matters.
Following his announcement of his allegiance to The Society two weeks ago, Minister Emmerich has been making plans within the Ministry and without to reveal the Wizarding World. The meeting between the two ministers is unknown to the muggle public as of yet. Both decided that Minister Blair would break the exciting news to the muggle world in January of 2005, just one short month away.
Minister Blair seemed very pleased to have the opportunity to see this great event during his lifetime. "No people should have to live in secrecy," he so-very-rightly commented, adding, "Our goal for now is to make this transition as smoothly as possible." Minister Blair was unable to comment on the decreasing population in the wizarding world.
As for Minister Emmerich's thoughts: "Minister Blair and I are tremendously excited to see this revelation come to fruition - we both share the Societal belief that all persons are equal, magical or not, and we will strive to reach our goals as quickly and calmly as possible over the coming months."
