Hogwarts' New Headmistress a Dud?

Newly appointed Hogwarts Headmistress Salem M. Hauxwell was at first celebrated as one of the best things to happen to the school in decades.  As the semester progresses, though, some questions have been raised as to her tactics.

Hauxwell leaves students thoroughly confused.  First, she neglected to select Heads of Houses prior to term, making it a last minute decision during the first week of school.  Also, she has yet to pick school prefects and Head Boy and Head Girl.  Says one Head Girl hopeful, "It's just a bit depressing, you know?  I mean, if anyone had picked, I'd be happy.  But so far we've heard nothing."  Tsk, tsk - Salem seems to be drawing these decisions out and picking on her students, playing with their emotions and brekaing down their fragile self esteem.

Will she continue to be sluggish in her choices?  Hopefully Hauxwell's reputed greatness will emerge soon before the School Governor's decide that they made the wrong decision.  Then again, at least they made a decision - and in a timely fashion, too.
